Association of abruzzesi in brussels
Who we are
Abrussels is a cultural association under Belgian; it was founded in June 2016 with these objectives:
- uniting the Abruzzo community and the Abruzzo lovers in Brussels;
- making Abruzzo culture known by means of cultural, recreational, food-and-wine events aiming at the promotion and conservation of Abruzzo territory;
- prizing the historical, artistic, environmental, folkloristic Abruzzo heritage.
We are a non-political and non-profit organization. All the activities we organise are made possible thanks to the voluntary engagement of our members and the donations of public and private organisms. Proceeds are periodically invested in different projects in the Abruzzo or for the Abruzzo region – further information are available here.
Our logo mirrors our identity: we are Abruzzo people, but also Europeans, deeply convinced that the two aspects are essentially intertwined, our colours mirrors the official colours of the Abruzzo region.
